Internship for Testers

Greetings, soldier of testing! And welcome to the testing range. Everything here is serious and for real. Any mistake can cost someone's life, or a reprimand if you get off easy. So stay alert. The games are over, cadet; from now on it's combat testing only.

Everything here is strict, and conditions are as close to combat as possible. Anyone who wants to can do the internship for free. Our only rules concern how your work is reviewed. We also recommend joining the internship only after completing level 12 of Galaxy QA Academy.

Report Submission Rules

The report must be submitted strictly before the testing end date; in addition, a report that is formatted incorrectly will not be reviewed. Only students with an “Unlimited” subscription have the right to a free review. For everyone else, participation in the program costs $30. You can pay on the payment page. Personally, I believe that completing an internship is the duty of every tester: without practice, there is no point in applying to any serious company. The internship lasts 7 days. The duration can be extended by mutual agreement.

Test Report Creation Rules

The test report must be prepared as a Google Docs document or spreadsheet and shared with the email galaxy.qa.academy@gmail.com
Every bug must be written up according to testing standards (level 5) and contain these fields: summary, priority, severity, preliminaries, steps to reproduce, actual result, expected result, screenshot
Screenshots must be taken with a screenshot tool, so that they are accessible via a short link
Bugs that are described incorrectly, unclearly, or inaccurately will be rejected right away
When testing is finished, you write a test report email following the example (level 3), giving general information about the work you did: the number of defects found, an assessment of the product's condition, and problems encountered during testing. You need to send the email to the same address.
You have the right to send a separate email with questions about the functionality or test cases and get full explanations before the internship ends.
